Hypochaeris glabra is a plant of the Asteraceae family.

Description


Hypochaeris glabra is a species native to Eurasia and North Africa, the annual standard, with basal rosette of shiny leaves almost glabrous and sparsely branched stems from 10-40 cm, with narrow leaves few scales.

Acucharadas leaves oblanceolate, toothed to slightly lobed. Chapters 0.5-1.5 cm in diameter, with yellow ray florets no longer than the involucre, which has pointed lanceolate bracts in several rows. It blooms from spring through fall.

Habitat

It lives in grassy fields, heath and dunes.
